Clera Cera Asia Rollout: 5 Skincare Localization Checks

Clera Cera is rolling out across eight Asian markets. Buyers can use five checks to localize formula, claims, range and packaging decisions.

Guardian and Mannings announced the launch of Clera Cera on October 23, 2026. The nine-product dermatological skincare range was co-developed with Singapore’s National Skin Centre and is launching first in Singapore, with expansion planned across seven additional Asian markets.

For private-label buyers, the useful signal is not a formula to copy. It is the launch structure: one range spans face, body, targeted serums and sun care, while the brand says its development drew on listening sessions and usage tests involving more than 18,000 consumers across five Asian markets.

What the launch reports

The company release says the range targets humid-climate preferences such as lightweight texture and avoidance of stickiness. It combines a proprietary botanical-extract system with five ceramides, and includes cleansers, moisturizers, serums and mineral sunscreens. These are claims about Clera Cera’s products and development program; they do not establish performance for another brand’s formula.

The rollout is also market-specific. Availability begins in Singapore through Guardian stores, online channels and selected NHG Health pharmacies. Brunei, Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Macau and Vietnam are planned to follow.

Five checks before localizing a skincare range

1. Define the climate-use brief

Translate “humid climate” into measurable targets for viscosity, absorption, after-feel and package dispensing. Test a control and candidate formulas under the intended temperature and humidity conditions rather than relying on general texture language.

2. Separate a system story from formula evidence

Record the exact INCI list and use level for every SKU. A shared barrier-care concept does not mean each cleanser, serum, cream and sunscreen has the same composition or evidence. Review substantiation product by product and market by market.

3. Plan the range architecture

A nine-SKU launch can cover multiple routines, but it also increases testing, artwork and inventory work. Buyers should define the hero SKU, supporting formats and launch sequence before approving all packs at once.

4. Localize claims and labels

Check ingredient naming, language, responsible-party details, warnings and claim support for every destination. Sunscreen claims need particular care because classification, permitted filters and test expectations differ across markets.

5. Validate packaging in actual use

Match pumps, droppers, jars and tubes to formula viscosity and dose. Run compatibility, leakage, transport and repeated-use checks in the intended climate, then lock the tested formula-pack combination in the specification.

A practical next step for buyers

Create a localization matrix with one row per SKU and columns for market, climate-use target, formula version, pack, label language, claims evidence and required testing. This makes gaps visible before artwork or production approval.

Lanthome Skincare buyers can review relevant product categories and use the contact page to share a target market, product format and documentation checklist for project-specific evaluation.
